“The guys of Challengers Tree Service have been my go-to tree service for many years. Every Spring, I call Joe to discuss having the tree in my front yard trimmed. Joe has always been very prompt in responding to my requests and flexible in scheduling a time for an estimate. Joe is very knowledgeable about the services he provides and honest when a requested service isn’t actually needed. Last year, I was annoyed because my flower garden wasn’t growing and I blamed the issue on my tree being overgrown and blocking out the sun. Joe came out to look at my tree and instead of offering to thin out my tree and charge me, he was honest and said that if he thinned the tree again, it would ruin the tree. (Needless to say, I got new fertilizer for my flowers and they ended up looking great). I was quite impressed by Joe’s integrity and his decision to not take on a job that wasn’t actually needed. This past March, 2020, we made the decision to have the large tree removed from our front yard. Joe and the guys of Challengers Trees Service came out about 8:00 AM and were done by 1:00 PM. I found myself in awe multiple times watching the guys cut down my tree, so skillfully and carefully from the top of the tree, down to grinding the stump and roots. They cleaned up the mess from the tree as they cut it down and then stayed to make sure everything was cleaned up afterwards. Joe provided recommendations to plant grass seed and even reminded me that my flowers are going to grow differently since I do not have a tree for shade. I recommend Challengers Tree Service to my family and friends, and anyone needing tree service.”

In June, they came out the same day following a storm to remove a partially fallen Bradford Pear that grazed my house on the way down and provided a quote for removal for the 2 Bradfords in my yard (this was the 3rd time part [of] a large chunk of those trees have broken off following storms.) I scheduled the removal of the trees for yesterday. They came in the early afternoon and had 2 trees down, stumps ground up, and cleaned up within 2 hours. They have removed 2 very large trees in my back yard in very confined spaces. They had to contend with trees surrounded by power lines, overhead cable lines, and fences on 2 sides.
